Casio. a manufacturer in the MoMA collection. has recreated their popular digital wristwatch. first released in 1983. and updated it with modern technology. The G Shock Revival Watch celebrates over 40 years of the iconic style that’s been beloved by both gadget enthusiasts and fashion fiends for its sophisticated functionality and sleek design. Just like the original. the durable case is stainless steel and the band design has been faithfully reproduced down to the last detail—length. form. and position of the dimples.
As for updates. the case size is slightly larger at 42.3mm. while the bezel and band are now crafted with bio-based resin to reduce environmental impact. Other features include shock and vibration-resistance plus high-brightness LED backlight for visibility when dark. Made at the Casio Yamagata factory in Japan. the G Shock Revival Watch has a case thickness of 13.1mm and a strap that measures 184 mm (excluding case and buckle).
