This Faith Ringgold Basketball is designed and produced by the creative collective Kindred Studio in partnership with Common Practice. whose work focuses on the intersection of contemporary art and the culture of basketball. In 2021. Common Practice collaborated with Ringgold and nonprofit organization Project Backboard in recreating Windows of the Wedding #1. Woman as a large-scale site-specific mural installation on a basketball court located at St. Nicholas Park in Harlem. New York. where Ringgold was born with the goal of bringing awareness to the life and career of Faith Ringgold.? The Faith Ringgold Basketball featuring Windows of the Wedding #1.
