The decals on the plates are produced in France.
The plates’ four different frond-like cut-outs sourced from La Perruche et la sir??ne??which towers 11 feet tall and 25 feet wide??were selected by Alex Matisse. the great-grandson of Henri and founder of East Fork Pottery. These plates are reduction-fired in large gas kilns and made for everyday use??they’re food-safe. non-toxic and made to last. They can also be used as decorative wall hangings. Differences in glaze applications on each plate may occur. making each one a unique piece. To prolong the life of your plates. it’s recommended that you hand wash them only. and do not put them in the microwave or oven. With constant use. plates and bowls might accumulate mild cutlery marks. These can be buffed off with warm water and scouring powder.
