Evoking an elegant apparition or a magician’s trick. the otherworldly Illusion Side Table seems to float above the floor. Designer John Brauer was inspired by tablecloths on round tables he spotted in a Copenhagen cafe. Each cloth was square and almost touched the floor. It took Brauer several months to realize his vision of creating a tablecloth draped over an invisible table. because every workshop he visited told him it was impossible.
