Designer George Nelson’s Pendant Lamp series was born from his fascination with some silk-covered Swedish lamps that he coveted for his own office. but found too expensive. Instead. he developed a more affordable version. made of lightweight steel frames cast in organic shapes and covered with an innovative plastic resin. A recently reproduced design made available by the George Nelson archives. the Nelson™ Roll Bubble Pendant includes a ceiling plate of brushed. nickel-plated steel and a 10-foot cord. is UL listed. and fits a standard size bulb up to 150 watts (not included).
