With a stand that resembles a leafy branch. this collectible lamp design by Yoshitomo Nara features a shade printed with artwork by Nara. As an art object. the lamp was first featured in Nara’s 2017 solo exhibition For Better or Worse. staged at a museum in Toyota. Japan. The artwork on the shade includes the text. I’m Not Sleepy But There’s No Place. I’m Going To…. Yoshitomo Nara’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection.
The Yoshitomo Nara Table Lamp is powered by a USB cord and wall adapter (includes a set of four international adapters). The lamp is not rechargeable and must be plugged in to power the integrated 4W LED 3000K lighting source. The light is turned on with a pull chain with attached small red ball. The lamp has a steel base and plastic shade. It measures 18.5h x 8.7w. For indoor use only.
